A user connected account is when a couple has accepted one another’s invite in the Cups & Spoons app.

Once the user accounts are connected they will have access to a game board and would be able to link with their therapists via the referral code found in the accounts section of the HUGS Hub dashboard. 

Cups & Spoons is a couples relationship building board game designed around mindfulness. It focuses on positive intent to help build communication, emotional awareness, trust and intimacy.

• Each partners board has 24 items providing ideas for couples to do together and for each other.
• When a certain number of items are selected a prompt will appear providing an opportunity for deeper connection – it could be a question to answer, sharing a story or planning date night. 
• The game boards refresh  every Sunday with new items allowing for opportunities to connect every week. 

Disclaimer* – Cups & Spoons does require two players to sign in and connect their accounts. We would suggest having been in a relationship for a year before playing as there are some items that revolve around cohabitation and events in a long term relationship.

It can happen one of two ways.

• In your dashboard create a folder hosting your patients basic information (email, name, birthday), next send them an invitation to securely download and play the app. The email you send provides a link that automatically connects both players to their folder in your dashboard.

           OR

• If you find that your patients are already playing Cups & Spoons you can send them your referral code found in your account profile and have them enter it into their app linking their gameplay to your dashboard.

Disclaimer* – The HUGS Hub account owner or either of their patients can delete the connection between the dashboards and app at anytime. If this happens you may send a referral code to reintroduce the link.

If a patient chooses to delete their account all connections will be severed, and a new account would need to be created to start over.

YES! Cups & Spoons is free for anyone to download and play.

A HUGS Hub account is not required for your patients to use the app – Although HUGS Hub provides visibility on real time interactions, displays analytics and provides key insights that would would benefit helping your patients.
